Delhi Set to Launch India’s First Cooperative Ride-Hailing Service for Drivers and Commuters

How the Cooperative Model Will Work
The new platform will run through a dedicated mobile app where commuters can easily book rides without worrying about surge pricing or hidden fees. Fare slabs will remain fair, fixed, and transparent. The cooperative will not use algorithm-driven fare manipulation, giving both drivers and passengers a sense of trust and predictability.
Officials from the Registrar Cooperative Society have already started drafting the detailed blueprint for the project.
